You've been thinking about
what career step comes next.
So have we.

log in and let's find out together.
๐ EU servers ยท GDPR-compliant ยท Your conversations are private.
CORAi is your Career Orientation Recommendation Assistant.
Most career tools ask you to show up polished. A well-crafted LinkedIn profile. A confident answer to "where do you see yourself in five years?"
CORAi works differently. It was built on a simple belief: you can only think clearly about your career when no one is watching.
That's not a marketing promise โ it's a technical and legal commitment. CORAi runs on servers located in the European Union, under full GDPR compliance. Your conversations are not used to improve or train a model. What you say to CORAi stays between you and CORAi.
Career conversations are some of the most sensitive conversations you can have. You're thinking out loud about uncertainty, about fear, about ambitions you haven't told your supervisor. About whether you're in the right field. About what you actually want, stripped of what you're supposed to want.
You can't have that conversation in a tool that shares your data with a corporation โ regardless of what their privacy settings say. Even if you turn off model training in ChatGPT, your conversation still passes through OpenAI's infrastructure, is associated with your account, and is subject to US corporate data practices. That company can use your data for product development, derive insights from it, or share it with third parties. Today's privacy policy is not tomorrow's guarantee.
CORAi is built under European law, on European infrastructure, with a fundamentally different answer to the question: whose data is this? Yours. Full stop.
CORAi is an AI assistant built specifically for career reflection โ not career advice in the prescriptive sense, but the kind of thinking that helps you figure out what you actually want to do next.
Most people arrive at CORAi with a fog, not a question. They know something needs to change, or might change, or could change โ but they can't quite articulate it. That's the right starting point. You don't need clarity to begin. That's the whole idea.
A conversation with CORAi moves you through three stages:
Fog โ Focus โ First step.
You start by talking about where you are. CORAi listens, asks questions, reflects back. Gradually, the fog becomes a clearer picture โ of what you value, what you're avoiding, what's pulling you forward. From that picture, you can usually identify a specific next action. Not a five-year plan. A next step.
CORAi was designed around the specific challenges of research and academic careers โ the particular pressures of the postdoc years, the complexity of deciding whether to stay in academia or move out, the lack of honest career support structures in most institutions.
But the underlying need โ a private, intelligent space to think through career decisions โ is universal. If you're at a crossroads and you want to think clearly, CORAi can work for you, whether you're a researcher or not.
There's no intake form. No personality test. No setup.
You log in and start talking. CORAi will ask you where you are and what's on your mind. From there, the conversation develops organically โ guided by a structured approach that CORAi applies in the background, calibrated to where you are in your thinking.
CORAi moves through phases: from exploration (what's the situation, what matters to you) toward focus (what are the real questions here) toward concretization (what could you actually do). You don't need to know which phase you're in. CORAi tracks it and adapts.
Sessions can last as long as you need. You can also return across multiple sessions โ CORAi maintains continuity, so you don't have to start from scratch every time.
Not a plan. Not a job offer. But typically something more useful than either: a clearer question, or a concrete next step you can take in the next week. The kind of thing that moves you forward rather than keeping you thinking in circles.
Being honest about this matters.
CORAi is not a job board. It won't find you open positions or match you to employers.
CORAi is not a CV writer. It won't draft your application documents (though clarity from a CORAi session often makes writing them much easier).
CORAi is not a therapist. If what you're working through goes beyond career decisions โ into questions of mental health, identity, or crisis โ please seek support from a professional who is trained and accountable in that domain. CORAi is not equipped for that, and won't pretend to be.
CORAi is not a decision-maker. It will never tell you what to do. It will help you figure out what you think โ which is harder, and more useful.
CORAi is also not perfect. It doesn't have live data on job markets, salary benchmarks, or specific employers. It's at its best when you bring the knowledge of your own field and situation, and it brings the structure and the questions.
Is CORAi only for academics and researchers?
No. CORAi was designed with researchers in mind โ the specific pressures of academic careers, postdoc transitions, and moving between academia and industry. But the core capability (helping you think clearly about career decisions, privately) is useful for anyone at a crossroads. If you're not a researcher, you're still welcome.
What if I don't know what I want?
That's the ideal starting point. CORAi is specifically designed for people in the fog โ who know something needs to change but can't yet articulate what. You don't need to arrive with a question. You just need to start.
Who can see my conversations?
No one. Your conversations are stored on EU servers under GDPR, and no member of the CORAi team has access to them. They are not reviewed, not used to train models, and not shared with third parties.
How is this different from just using ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a powerful general-purpose AI assistant. CORAi is purpose-built for career reflection, with a structured approach and a specific understanding of research career contexts. But the deeper difference is about data. When you use ChatGPT โ even with training turned off โ your conversation passes through OpenAI's infrastructure and is subject to US corporate data practices. OpenAI can use that data for product development or share it with partners. Their policies can change. CORAi runs under European law, on European servers, with a commitment that your data is yours and stays yours. For conversations this personal, that distinction matters.
Can I use CORAi in multiple sessions, or is it one conversation?
You can return across multiple sessions. CORAi maintains continuity, so you can pick up where you left off rather than starting from scratch each time.
